36 degrees, chirping crickets, and the perfect soundtrack: “Mescalero Ranger,” the second album by Vienna-based garage rock band Reverend Stomp. These eleven songs warm your ears, your heart, and your dancing feet.
The band calls their style “swamp surf”: an explosive mixture of blues, desert sound, surf rock, and uncompromising rock ‘n’ roll—carried by Christoph Mooser's raw voice. A sound that is as timeless as it is powerful, reminiscent of Quentin Tarantino's soundtracks. The songs were recorded live at Nautilus Studio in Dornbirn—raw, authentic, and without any double meanings.
