Punk concert: Glue Crew & 7Dials Mystery

The Glue Crew is Salzburg's best export since the Mozartkugel. Spicier than Pongauer Vogelbeerschnaps, sweeter than Salzburger Nockerl and more energetic than
a pallet of Red Bull. Imagine that the sun suddenly shines after the lacing suddenly shines - that's what the Glue Crew sounds like. The quartet knows no musical boundaries and cannot be defined by a single genre. be defined by a single genre. Punk rock? Check. Ska? Double check. Austropop? Of course
yes. The catchy melodies and fast drum beats get the adrenaline pumping and get even the and get even the most tired legs bouncing. Add to that
personal lyrics with depth and humor that not only entertain, but also have a literary quality. have a literary quality.
After the albums “Straight Outta Pongau” (2019, Sbäm Records) and “Mundartpunk Forever” (2021, Sbäm Records), the Glue Crew will be back in fall 2023 with a new
new work. Produced by Oliver Zülch (Die Ärzte, Granada etc.), the boys flirt with flirt with synthesizers, brass arrangements and radio suitability on the album “Kleben und kleben lassen” and radio suitability without losing sight of their roots.

Attention punk rock aficionados! If you're looking for fresh input in this country, you should give the Salzburg band 7Dials Mystery a listen as soon as possible. The four-piece have been releasing singles, EPs and LPs for years, have toured Eastern Europe extensively and have shared stages with bands such as Ignite, The Menzingers, CJ Ramone, Dog Eat Dog, Mad Caddies and many more. At the beginning of June 2017, the band released their debut album “Bubbles And Guns”, sending a strong signal of life into the local music scene. The guys are currently working on a new album, which will be released in 2024.7 Dials Mystery have already released a foretaste of the new record with the single “Shutdown”.7 Dials Mystery have been playing melodic punk rock in the style of bands such as New Found Glory, All Time Low and Four Year Strong since 2010 with a changing line-up. After 2 EPs (“Dog Against The System”, 2011 / “Broken Bones, Hearts & Souls”, 2013), the album debut of the four Salzburgers called “Bubbles And Guns” was released in June 2017. Incidentally, the Linz-based artist and enthusiastic punk fan SBÄM (aka StefanBeham) is responsible for the apt artwork. Biting guitars, often with a little more distortion than is usual in this genre and catchy hooks characterize the picture. 7 Dials Mysterys are definitely modern representatives of their genre and the production is correspondingly bright and powerful. Vocal effects and bass drops are also sprinkled in here and there. It is truly no easy feat to manage this balancing act between modern rock production and punk spirit, but 7 Dials Mystery live up to this claim with their authentic style and uncompromising songwriting. Friends of the punk of the 2000s will have a lot of fun with 7 Dials Mystery and the band doesn't need to shy away from international comparison anyway.
